Consummate Speaker, Noted Author & Certified Seminar Leader Melvin Murphy brings 17 years of speaking and training experience to educational institutions, civic groups, public associations, and corporations throughout the country.
Mr. Murphy’s goals include actively participating in the ever-changing landscape of communicating in the professional arena, authoring progressive ideas and concepts and mainstreaming ethical business practices to building partnerships in business through business networking concepts.
Mr. Murphy is a former member of the National Speakers Association, former board member of the National Capital Speakers Association, a member of Toastmasters International and has received the “Young Outstanding American and Who’s Who?” awards. Melvin was awarded the “Gentleman of Distinction” by the American University.
In addition to conducting numerous keynotes speeches and seminars, he authored, five books on the subject of business networking and relationship management. “His latest work, 76 lessons to Choosing the Right People to Help you Build and Manage Effective Relationships will be published in 2009.
Melvin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The American University, Washington, D.C., where he studied Public Communications/Advertising with a minor in Sociology. He also earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix and currently working on his post-graduate studies in organizational and management with a specialization in global leadership.
